The Knitting Olympics: Twiss Challenge

It will be socks. A pair of socks. I'm so envious of the ladies I read who continually post about socks. I dream about their sock-drawers, how full of pretty lacy and warm 'n' cozy socks they are. Oh you wicked wicked ladies, I'm crazy about you all!

Here is my yarn:
Patons Kroy 4-ply, in the Olympic ring colours... (primaries plus) Patons calls it Paint Box.

The fibre content of the yarn is:
75% Washable Wool
25% Nylon

I'm looking for the right pattern. The Just-Right Pattern to knit during this "Event". I will try my best to post promptly the pattern I've found.

In the meantime, I'm knitting up a single #38 practice sock, photos to follow.
