Studying Button Hold Facings

Getting the facing right. To stabilize - to strengthen.

For the Brilliant Cardi, I'm considering stabilizing the facing, even though I won't be sewing button holes, the pattern calls for hooks and eyes.

I'm hoping the facing will assist a proper fit. Of course, as I write this, I'm reconsidering.

The pictures above show grow grain sewn along the length of the centre front of the cardigans and the button holes are sewn vertically and cut, all except the top button which is sewn horizontally.

One sleeve to go! Then I'll deal with the facing part.
