Silver Medal Finalist

The closing ceremonies were impressive to watch. Even more impressive was my timing. My man was able to sport them during the Vancouver 2010 "Come Play With Us" teaser performance.
He didn't take them off all day. But this morning I wouldn't let him wear them to work, 'cause I had to take pictures and show off my medal:

Sure it is a silver medal, but I'm satisfied.

How did I do that you wonder? These beautiful wooden hand fixtures. We used them to show off bracelets and stuff.

Now I can knit socks! One task off my Knitting Resolutions 2006 list completed!
