Dalhousie Rocks!

This is 246 Dalhousie Street, where you can see the development of Miss Twiss Designs.

Amuse, located on Dalhousie Street, has been in existence for 4 years, providing stylish Ottawa shoppers with a friendly and informed boutique atmosphere. Specializing in unique, less known clothing and accessories from around the world. Amuse promises to become your fashion destination.

It will be worth your time coming down to Dalhousie. Read more and you'll see why.

Beside Amuse is Workshop. A co-operative of sorts. Lovely silk screened t-shirts and vinyl bags with craftily topstitched flowers and other pretty neat motifs are available. All the items in the store are designed by women.

Something for the guy when you drag him along shopping, is ACME Bargain Books, a new delicately-used bookstore beside Workshop.

Beside the bookstore is SoHo Betty. A quirky and fun little boutique selling their own hand-made clothes and accessories.

Down a bit is Le Souppier. Where you can eat in or take out fancy and delicious soups.

Across the street from the soup place is this great little critters shop, A Guy, A Girl, Two Dogs and a Cat. A boutique for your favorite pet. You can find fancy doggie treats or cat nip specialties, and other canine/feline accessories you never thought your companion would need.

Further down at the corner of St. Andrew is Attic Clothing. A very funky shop where the ladies who run it buy second hand clothes, re-furbish them and re-sell them to you. They have exceptional taste and are incredibly creative.

OK, so this is a lazy post. I promise this evening, I will post something to look forward to.
