A Brother's Inspiration

My brother's place a few weekends ago. They weren't home. So I walked around and shot some photos.

I found the laundry.

I found the cat.

The colour combinations on clothes lines always catches my attention. I love the soft yellows with the variety of greens. Even their sun chair is workin' it.

Last weekend my friend Anita Lahey launched her first book of poetry, Out to Dry in Cape Breton. She beat me to the punch, much of her inspiration is from clotheslines. She is a brilliant poet and enjoyed her reading very much. Read a wonderful description about her poetry here.
