The F-Word is Fall

New for Fall. Designed by Central Park West. It is called the "Throw Over". It is made of a Cashmere and Silk yarn. Is it possible to knit this and still love it in the end for under $200?

Has anyone come across a pattern similar to this one? It is basically a ribbed rectangle with little seamed sleeves jutting out of the centre edges and a heavy duty lace trim loaded with beadwork and sequins. It looks simple enough.

I'll see if I can get a better picture of it.

Hey Laura - Can you take a picture wearing it? I can't make out what it looks like from your description...

I know what you are referring to is a wrap, but Stella McCartney did a sweater that sounds something similar to that for her Fall ready to wear collection.... A "poncho" to about your elbows, with little sleeves sticking out for your forearms, with a straight bottom.

I think you could definitely knit something similar.

for under $200? hmmnn, maybe if you spun your own yarn, but even with the spinning and then knitting, and cost of beads, it'd be a labour of love.

looks worth it though, I agree with laurin, put it on so we can see what it looks like on the body.
